"Second to none"
We have just returned from a trip to Devon, staying at The Smugglers Rest, we stayed for three nights. This amazing B&B is by far the best we have ever stayed in. We were greeted by Will with a very warm welcome. We stayed in Exmoor on the second floor, which had a little balcony, a lovely surprise. We had amazing views of the beautiful countryside and the sea, to the left. Our room/bathroom was exceptionally clean and comfortable, we were provided with tea and a little coffee machine too.
The breakfast menu is delicious with a variety of food to suit everyone including full English, poached egg with avocado on sourdough toast with extras to choose from if you wish, pancakes with fruit and Greek yoghurt and much more. The staff there are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We had an evening meal there too which surpassed any top restaurant we have visited. The Smuggler’s Rest is phenomenal.
